Frampton STW – Enhancing Effluent Quality

Client: Severn Trent Water Ltd
Principal Contractor: FLI Water (with Glasswell & Last)
Objective: Improve effluent quality in line with the Water Framework Directive

Scope:

• New flow split chamber and reedbeds

• Outfall modifications and system enhancements

• Trace heating, electrical upgrades, and civil works (delivered with Vertase FLI)

✅ Outcome: Key performance criteria achieved in 2024, with final handover underway.

Rampton STW – Phase 1: Achieving EA Compliance

Client: Severn Trent Water Ltd
JV Partner: Glasswell & Last (G&L)

Scope:

• Ferric dosing system installation

• Laboratory upgrades for on-site testing

• Monitoring system and new infrastructure

📌 Impact: Phase 1 progressing well, ensuring future compliance with environmental regulations.

Shifnal STW – Regulatory Readiness

Client: Severn Trent Water Ltd

Scope:

• New treatment systems including Tertiary Solids Removal (TSR)

• Chemical dosing plant

• Lab and effluent monitoring systems

🛠️ Project Status: Final commissioning and finishing works underway with handover set for Q2 2025.

Bredon STW – Supporting Green Recovery

Objective: Achieve 1mg/L phosphorus limit

Scope:

• New ferric dosing plant

• Operational upgrades

• New laboratory and access road

🔄 Status: Detailed design complete. Construction begins Q2 2025.

Coaley STW – Group Collaboration in Action

Scope:

• New dosing systems and TSR feed pumps

• Full precast bund supplied by FLI Precast

• Delivered with Vertase FLI and FLI Water
