Employee Spotlight: Chris Woods Completes the Tour du Mont Blanc Cyclo 2026
Congratulations to Chris Woods, Divisional Director at FLI CAP Technology, on completing one of Europe’s toughest one-day cycling events – the Tour du Mont Blanc Cyclo 2026.
FLI Global is proud to support the continued expansion of the GROW at School programme, delivered by GIY, as it reaches more primary and post-primary schools across Ireland.
The programmeβs Q1 2026 impact report highlights significant progress, with schools transforming underutilised outdoor areas into vibrant growing spaces that support hands-on learning and student wellbeing.
At Firhouse Educate Together Secondary School, students participating in climate action initiatives have successfully converted an unused area into a thriving garden. The programmeβs flexible and practical approach has also encouraged strong engagement from Transition Year students, demonstrating its relevance across multiple stages of education.
Alongside its expansion, the GROW at School programme continues to evolve through the development of new seed-saving modules and enhanced evaluation frameworks, supported by subject-matter experts. Educator advisory groups and a growing national outreach network ensure that resources remain aligned with the needs of schools and teachers.
The programme is also gaining increasing recognition at both national media and policy level, reinforcing its role in promoting sustainable education and environmental awareness.
At FLI Global, sustainability is central to our values. Supporting initiatives like GROW at School reflects our commitment to environmental responsibility, education, and community impact.
By helping students understand where their food comes from, explore seed stewardship, and engage with nature, the programme is empowering the next generation with practical skills and knowledge that will shape a more sustainable future.
We would like to congratulate the GIY team on the continued success of the programme and look forward to seeing its impact grow even further in the years ahead.
